Using Bedrock Created Words

There are three steps to successfully setting up your subject-specific curriculum: configure, build and sequence. To make your curriculum build easier, you can access over 40,000 words of Bedrock Created Content written by subject experts for KS1-KS5. 

You can search for relevant words and create bespoke topics. To build your own topics using Bedrock Created Content, navigate to the 'build' tab within Mapper and select 'add words from Bedrock Created Content.'

1. Search the words that align with your word lists.
2. Select the subject you wish to add your topic to.
3. Choose the topic name or create a new topic.
4. Select the classes you wish to add the content to.
5. Click ‘add.’

Your topic, the words and all their activities will be added to your curriculum map and any selected classes. Your next step is to sequence the date that you want your learners to access the words.
