Searching for a video

To find a video on a specific grammar topic, such as 'verbs' or 'modal verbs,' simply type the topic into the search box.Search grammar videos.gif

Filtering options

Browse Content: You can refine your search using filters such as topic, level, block, and video type.

  • Topic: Specific grammar topics, e.g., conjunctions, complex sentences and fronted adverbials.
  • Level: Choose between primary or secondary to match your curriculum needs.
  • Block: Select whether the content is from Grammar Foundations or Advanced Grammar.
  • Type: Specify the video type—explicit teaching, recap, or So What?

Applying Filters: Add filters based on your preferences (e.g., level) to precisely tailor search results.

Playing videos:

  • Accessing videos: Once you find the desired video, click on it to open in a new tab.
  • Video controls: You can play, pause, skip, or replay the video. Adjust the playback speed, view in full screen, or utilise the picture-in-picture mode for a more flexible viewing experience.

Top Tip

For classroom usage, display the video in full screen to ensure visibility for all learners.
