How to reset a learner's password

Has a learner lost their password or need it reset?

There are two ways to reset a password for an individual learner:

  1. Click on ‘class database’
  2. Select the class that the learner is in
  3. Find the learner within the list
  4. Click on ‘reset password’
  5. Then you can either give the learner the existing password OR click ‘generate new password’ and ‘reset.’

Or, as a lead teacher, you can reset a learner password for any learner within the school via subscription management (or you can use the above method).

  1. Click on ‘subscription management’
  2. Click on ‘student database’
  3. Find the learner within the list
  4. Click on ‘reset password’
  5. Then you can either give the learner the existing password OR click ‘generate new password’ and ‘reset.’

Reset a password for a whole class

You may wish for all learners in a class to have the same password. To do this:

  1. Click on ‘class database’
  2. Click ‘reset password’

You can then choose to generate the same password for every learner in the class or generate a new individual password for each user.

To access and download the passwords of a class

  1. Click on the class name in ‘class database’
  2. Click on ‘user accounts’
  3. Click ‘show access codes’
  4. Download the usernames and passwords as a .csv file

Note

The download also includes parent access codes.

To access and download the passwords of your school

Note

Only the lead teacher can access the passwords for the entire school.

  1. Select ‘subscription management’
  2. Click on ‘user accounts’
  3. Click ‘show access codes’
  4. Download the usernames and passwords as a .csv file
