Single Sign-On (SSO) allows teachers and learners to log into Bedrock using their Google or Office school email addresses.
Note
SSO only works if your school has provided Bedrock with email address data, either via Wonde or manually.
The main benefits of using the Single Sign-On method:
- It’s simpler to get your learners started on Bedrock, as they won’t need to be given a personalised username and password
- You won’t need to reset passwords as learners won’t need to remember another username and password. This reduces interruption for learners and saves time.
Once Single Sign-On has been set up, learners and teachers just need to click on ‘Office 365’ or ‘Google’ depending on the system your school uses.
Remember
If this is your school’s first time using SSO for Bedrock Learning, you may need an IT administrator to approve Microsoft/Google authentication for our web application. If they need help with this, they can contact our support team using support@bedrocklearning.org.
