There are two main reports that will be useful to monitor mastery of your subject-specific vocabulary.
These reports are the ‘words learned across the curriculum’ and the ‘words learned in a subject’ reports. You can also use the subject vocabulary insights report to give you granular detail into the individual words that your learners have mastered.
Words learned across the curriculum report
The words learned across the curriculum report show the number of words mastered per learner in each subject in a chosen time period.
Remember
You can run this report for any time parameter - a week, a fortnight, a half term, a full term or even an entire academic year.
This is a multi-subject report so gives you visibility of mastery across the curriculum. Therefore, this report is excellent for monitoring the impact of your subject-specific curriculum. You can use it to explore the number of words being mastered comparatively in each subject at the subject level and the individual learner level.
The report can be downloaded and could even be used for leaderboards, inter-subject competitions, form group competitions and inter-year group competitions.

Words learned in a subject report
The ‘words learned in a subject’ report shows the number of words that are being learned and the number that have been learned in an individual subject. It shows the impact of the reteaching algorithm and memory checking.
This report is also useful for calculating the number of words that learners have been exposed to as it includes the explicit teaching sessions, reteaching sessions and memory checking in the figures.
Remember
The numbers in ‘learning’ and ‘learned’ will change as learners are served memory checking and reteaching sessions if their knowledge of the word changes.
The report can be accessed and downloaded for selected classes. Ideally, this report should only be used for one subject at a time. Each learner will only appear once. Any time parameter can be set to view the impact of your subject-specific curriculum on learners’ vocabulary growth.
This report could be used for competitions to ensure learners are being praised for the words they are learning.
