Integrating with Wonde to sync Bedrock with your school's Management Information System (MIS)

What is Wonde?

Wonde is used by over 30,000 schools to securely share their data with Edtech platforms like Bedrock. As well as integrating with 14 different MIS (Management Information System e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Scholarpack etc.) providers in the UK, Wonde are a Capita SIMS Technical Partner.

Connecting to Bedrock via Wonde provides a safe and secure connection for your data - so no transferring of student or class details via spreadsheets and no manual updates. Changes in your MIS will be automatically updated in your school's Bedrock account, saving your school administration time.

What is the cost?

This service from Wonde is included in your Bedrock subscription and comes with no additional charges. As part of their service, Wonde will set your school up with a free portal where you will have full visibility and control over any information you choose to share with Bedrock Learning.

How does Wonde support the use of Bedrock in your school?

Using Wonde, we obtain data about your school’s classes, your learners and teachers from your MIS.

We use this data to:

• Set up your classes and groups in Bedrock and keep them in sync with your school’s MIS
• Automatically create Bedrock accounts for your learners
• Send teacher emails

How does Wonde control your classes in Bedrock?

When you start using Bedrock and at the beginning of the academic year, you will need to link to your classes from your school MIS. You have to configure your classes for the Core curriculum and the subject-specific curriculum.

When does Wonde update Bedrock?

Wonde regularly updates data in Bedrock. This means that changes to classes, learners and teachers should be reflected in Bedrock within 48 hours.

What data permissions do I need to grant in Wonde?

When you process a Wonde authorisation request, you will notice that some of the permissions that we request are required and some are optional. Bedrock Learning’s privacy statement gives an overview of the data collected, and why.
